15 years enabling organizations to improve leadership and manage change
Michelle Welton is the President of Accelerated Talent Group, LLC and creator of GOccelerate™.
Michelle’s career started in talent development — building training and leadership programs for banks, technology firms and consumer brands. This quickly taught her that a well-designed program only changes behavior when people understand and see what is in it for them to grow. This led her to pursue more depth in work behavior.
From there the work moved upstream - talent management and executive assessments, organizational change management on large transformations, and coaching leaders to increase their effectiveness. Some of Michelle’s engagements include leading multiple change initiatives at a large energy utility, a corporate-wide change program at a global manufacturer, blended learning at multinational food and beverage companies, and eight years running executive assessment centers, identifying ready-now and future leaders.
Michelle holds a graduate degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, an ICF Professional Certified Coach credential, and 15+ years coaching leaders and managing organizational change initiatives with Fortune 500 organizations.
The same conclusion kept showing up: the team’s capability to carry change to success was a large reason 70% of change initiatives failed.
That conclusion is what GOccelerate is built on — and it’s why the coaching practice and the change practice are combined in the GOccelerate offering.
